Travel to India or Bangkok

If your travelling for your gap year you will need to think of some destinations that are going to make the year as good as it can get. Theys plenty of places out there for you to choose from, with India and Bangkok being two of the popular destinations but which one will suit you better?

Goa, India

Flights to Goa will set you back at atleast £500, you might think this is dear but your accommodation can start at as little as £9 per person per night. India has some nice places to explore firstly visit Chennai where you can see the 7th century shore temples in Mamallapuram.You can also stay in Kerala, here you can go and look around the lovely Dutch Palace which is in Kochi. During your stay make the most of the laid back beaches in Goa.

Krabi and Phuket, Bangkok

Bangkok is really popular for travelling, stay in Bangkok for the start of your trip and then get an overnight train journey over to Khao Sok Nation Park. Here it is popular to stay in the jungle if you was the proper experiance. After this head to Krabi Province where you can chill out on the great beaches. A flight to Krabi cost at around £600 return and for Phuket it will be atleast £450. £15 is the starting price for accommodation, this being at the beach hotels with outdoor pools.
