Malaysia – ten day visit

Kuala Lumpur Go to the skybridge of the Petronas towers. Visit Batu Caves, Chinatown, Central market, night market. Visit Kuala Selangor to see fireflies at night.

Kuala Lumpur  Taman Negara  Elephant Sanctuary in Lanchang. Takes 1hr 15min to Elephant Sanctuary. Elephant ride available. Travel to Taman Negara rainforest and get scenic river trip- 2-3hrs into park. See villages along the way and wildlife. Try to organise a night jungle walk or night river safari.
Taman Negara Up early to walk in jungle- oldest rainforest in the world. Rainforest Trek 3hr via Canopy Walkway and up Teresik hill. Stop at swimming area on way back.
Taman Negara  Jerantut  Kuantan  Cherating Bus to Kuantan from Jerantut is 3½ hrs, then to Cherating one hour.
Cherating Visit turtle sanctuary, beach, river trip- can see monkeys etc, fireflies at night. Trip to Mangrove Swamp.
Cherating Relaxing on beach.
Cherating  Kuala Lumpur Return to KL is 4 hrs from Kuantan, 1hr from Cherating to Kuantan. Return to UK.
